How It Works

Finished, not just started

Most organization books are bought with the best intentions and left half-done. Ours is designed to be completed — by you, at your own pace, or together with a companion who sits with you in person.

On your own

The book itself, delivered to you. Its workbook format lies flat, the sections are clear, and guided prompts walk you through one page at a time.

  • Work through it in any order
  • Fill in only what applies to you
  • Add letters, photos and extras as you go

The Process

Four gentle steps

1

Say hello

Reach out for yourself, or for a parent. We talk through what you’d like, with no obligation.

2

Gather & talk

We work through the book together section by section — information, wishes, letters and stories.

3

Complete the book

Your finished book is checked for completeness, and any missing pieces are flagged kindly, not left silent.

4

Keep it current

Lives change. An optional annual review keeps every page true — new accounts, new wishes, new grandchildren.

For Your Family

When the day comes, they’ll know what to do

The book ends with step-by-step checklists for your family: who to notify, what to secure, where everything is. In the hardest week of their lives, they won’t have to search or guess.

Questions

Families ask us

Does the book hold my passwords?

No — never. It is a map, not a store. It records where things are and how to find the instructions; passwords and PINs belong in a password manager.

Is this a will?

No. The book records your wishes and where your documents are. Wills, estates and powers of attorney belong with a lawyer, and we’ll happily point you to one.

Can I give it as a gift?

Yes — many books are gifts from adult children to their parents, and the companion sessions make it a gift of time together, too.

What if my situation changes?

That’s what the back section and the annual review are for. Update a page, replace a letter, and your book stays true.
